Waiting on responses!

I have heard back from the Rattinis on time frames and just sent out reminders on everyone else. Hope to hear back soon so we can move forward. I have put it on the back burner for to long and am trying to get going on this again! I'll post more when we have a date and location set.

Possible Date

I have heard two main ideas as far as time frame goes for the reunion:

1. During the summer months at some point.

2. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, this might actually work out pretty good since Thanksgiving falls on Thursday many will be off work at least Thursday if not Friday as well. If everyone gets in Thursday or Friday that would give at least Friday and Saturday to visit and Sunday for traveling back home.

More ideas are welcome just post as comments and I'll add to this list for everyone to consider. In two weeks I will try and get with all of the family reps to see what everyone is wanting to do.

Family Reps

I hope everyone has had time to talk to their family about the upcoming reunion. If the chosen family representatives would shoot me an e-mail letting me know who you are that would be great! We are going to have to start narrowing down dates and locations soon. My next posting will be some dates for everyone to consider and vote on.

Scherrer Family Reunion

After Margaret's wedding we thought that instead of waiting for the next family wedding we would try and pull together the first (ever to my knowledge) Scherrer Family Reunion. The point of the blog is to keep everyone posted on developments, plans and ideas. It is an open forum that everyone is welcome to leave comments on. We thought the best way to organize is have a spokesperson from each family so that you can talk amongst your siblings and then the spokesperson can pass the information along from there. If each family can choose a spokesperson to represent their family it would be great. Once that is done we will choose a date and then start looking at locations. We hope that everyone is as excited as we are about it.
